About me…
I suspect I have always been a bit of a late bloomer...but better late than never, right? Covid-19-induced introspection nudged me into exploring my creativity and expanding my right brain. I started painting in March 2020 and haven’t stopped since. Now in my late-60s, having explored lots of possibilities in terms of life directions, I think I might have (finally) figured out what I want to do when I grow up! I work intuitively, exploring colour, shape, line and texture. I am largely self-taught but have undoubtedly developed as an artist under the tuition of Louise Fletcher, Nicholas Wilton and Pamela Caughey.
I am grateful to live with my partner, our two dogs and one cat on the ancestral lands of the muwinina palawa people in nipaluna/Hobart, on the beautiful island of lutruwita/Tasmania, Australia.
